Figure Scale: This game is designed for use with 28mm miniatures (the scale typically used to play Dragon Rampant) but could be played with smaller scales as well by halving distances or using centimeters instead of inches.
Equipment Needed: Terrain and figures for a variety of different fantasy types (see the Rules and Guide to Play for specifics.) A large table is best, as each 12" square is used as a single space for campaign movement. Requires at least two players - having a dedicated game master is strongly recommended.

Eldmark is a campaign game which plays out on the tabletop, without requiring any map or book-keeping. In it, players lead a warband out into an ever-shifting landscape full of monsters and treasure, and need to defeat their foes, possibly win some allies, garner lots of treasure and loot, and return home alive. It is essentially a framework for a series of small Dragon Rampant games, and can be played out over the course of a single gaming session. Designed to be a stereotypical depiction of fantasy adventures, players can substitute whatever backstory they like, but the ever-changing nature of the wasteland they explore will be a constant.
At the start of play, the table is empty, but rapidly fills with different terrain and the many different beings who live there, most of them inimical. There is always the chance that an adventure will emerge, giving players a more specific goal than simply surviving and amassing loot. Players can maintain their warbands across several game sessions, or start new ones every time.
The game app is used to perform all campaign functions, with battles being fought using the Dragon Rampant rules. All you need is a computer, tablet, or smartphone which can access a web page. Players should read through the 14-page Guide to Play before starting - the app is intuitive and easy to use.
So assemble your fearless warband and venture forth into the wastes of Eldmark! You have nothing to lose but your life (and possibly your reputation) but there's a huge amount of treasure and fame to be gained!
